The aim of the master's programme in Medical Informatics at the Medical University of Vienna is to provide scientific training that enables the graduates to design and conduct IT projects in the varied fields of biomedical research, medicine and health care. Students of Medical Informatics will acquire a well-founded core competence in informatics with a special emphasis on the essential methods applied in bioscience, medicine and health care.
