Definition of the field of studies

It is intentional that equal importance is attached to the fields of activity in product design and transportation design. Both fields complement each other in a perfect way: product design emphases technical and functional problem solving while transportation design focuses on the emotional and aesthetic qualities of the product language – both are fundamental requirements for professional industrial design.

Entrance examinations

The requirement for admission to this programme is a completed subject-relevant bachelor's programme and a positive result in the admission procedure. Students who have completed the bachelor’s programme in “Industrial Design” in Graz automatically qualify for this master’s programme.

Supplementary examinations
