Master’s programme MA Dance Pedagogy

Content and focus of the degree programme:

The curricula for the Master's programmes offer in-depth studies in practice and theory of dance. The focus is on methods of artistic and practice-oriented research (artistic research, practice-led research). The master students develop individual questions and topics within the productive transfers and intersections of theory and practice, past and present, artistic practices as well as intercultural and transcultural differentiations. The programme is geared towards a broad target group of dancers, choreographers and already practicing dance educators. Some courses are also held together with the MA Movement Research programme.
