Content and focus of the degree programme:

The objective of the ECMAster programme is to help chamber music ensembles develop their artistic intentions and overall abilities as ensembles as well as to develop the individual ensemble members' abilities in terms of artistic self-expression and the refinement of their individual musical presentation, communication, and technical skills. The programme includes the rehearsal and performance of a comprehensive and balanced repertoire. In this, the individual groups’ areas of interest are both emphasised and challenged. This programme concentrates on the development of students’ artistic and technical skills on their instruments and on the development of their ability to convey musical expression as part of a chamber music ensemble.
