Diploma programme Trombone, Instrumental Study

Content and focus of the degree programme:

This study programme is only available in German.

This 12-semester diploma programme enables students to recognise and build upon their strengths, improve upon any weaknesses, and attain certainty regarding the range of possible artistic stances that they might take up in their subsequent professional lives. Since a programme of artistic training consists not in the additive acquisition of knowledge and skills, but much rather in a developmental process that involves myriad artistic and human aspects, ample time and space are provided for these objectives’ achievement in an atmosphere that is open to today’s artistic diversity but also affirms the preservation of a specifically Viennese style in terms of sound and music-making.
