The 12-semester diploma program enables students to recognize and develop their strengths, to work on any weaknesses they may have, and thus to gain certainty about possible artistic positions in their future professional fields. Since artistic training is not about the additive acquisition of knowledge and skills, but rather a developmental process that touches on a variety of artistic and human areas, sufficient time and space should be allowed to achieve these goals, open to the diversity of artistic directions and committed to preserving a specific Viennese sound and style of playing music.
