The bachelor's degree programme IGP (Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy) prepares for the versatile work as a music teacher at a music school, other educational institutions or as a freelance professional. The course can be taken with a focus on classical music, jazz or folk music. The focus of his studies is the development of competences in the musical-artistic as well as in the pedagogical-didactic field. Due to the close interdependence and cooperation at the GMPU, these fields of study complement each other during the studies and provide mutual impulses. This course of study, which is modern in theory and practice, aims to prepare the student optimally for his or her future work, precisely because of the increasingly diverse demands of the labour market.
