Content and focus of the degree programme:

In the first year of study the basics of science, engineering, wood science and civil engineering will be taught. In the second year of study the focus is placed on the acquisition of specific expertise. At the same time in-depth courses in wood technology and wood construction and furniture fesign and interior architecture will start. Before the start of the fifth semester the students have to complete a professional internship, which they can do either in Austria or abroad, to prepare them in an optimal way for professional life. In this internship the students can put their acquired specialist knowledge into practice.
