Master’s programme JMDP in Human-Computer Interaction (E)

Content and focus of the degree programme:

This study programme is a joint master's programme between PLUS and the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg. It is taught in English and targeted at national and international students who are interested in how humans interact with any kind of interfaces. The study programme is highly interdisciplinary and attractive for diverse backgrounds such as design, informatics, psychology, etc. The aim of the course is to research, design and improve interfaces between users and technical systems including their user experiences (UX). The programme provides a scientifically sound education and application-oriented practical training at higher education level. To be able to cope with current and future digital challenges graduates of the programme will have a qualification profile that includes comprehensive knowledge of general approaches (e.g. design thinking, experience-centred design), qualitative aspects and guidelines (e.g. usability, user experience), corresponding methods and tools, current and future interaction approaches as well as the institutionalisation and management of user experience in organisations.
