Apps, mobile phones, tablets and smart watches are probably the best-known representatives of the mobile IT world. They are part of everyday life, almost everyone uses them, and they enable us to implement services that were unthinkable just a few years ago. TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, Spotify and many more are only so widespread because they are available on mobile devices. But these applications are not only successful in the entertainment sector. Mobile payment, fitness applications, control of the smart home, navigation to the nearest pub, etc. The possibilities offered by these mobile devices are simply inexhaustible. But mobile computing is much more: the Internet of Things (IoT), novel interaction technologies (voice, smart textiles, AR/VR), mobile communications, electronics, product design and much more is important if you want to be successful in the smart world of tomorrow. Just as exciting as the diverse application areas are the studies themselves. In addition to a solid programming education we will broaden your horizon to include many of the aspects mentioned above (innovation management, product design, hardware, mobile communications, audio/video processing, etc.).
