The degree programme in Information and Communication Systems provides expertise in the following subject areas: technical tools, solid ICT skills, problem-solving skills, technical concepts, system reliability, economic aspects and overall ICT solutions. There are a wide range of employment opportunities for well-trained ICT professionals. This applies both to the ICT production sector, which is often also referred to as the ICT core sector, and to ICT application sectors. Graduates can work, for example, as system architects, software developers, database developers or experts in IT security. Typical tasks include the production of computers of all kinds, analysing requirements, creating specifications, developing software components or carrying out system tests.
