Master’s programme Mining and Tunnelling (E)

Content and focus of the degree programme:

The master's degree programme in Mining and Tunnelling serves to deepen and supplement the students' scientific professional preparation gained in the bachelor's programme in Mineral Resources Engineering and to qualify them for professional activities in mining and raw materials processing industries and in the construction industry that require the application of scientific knowledge and methods. The study programme is divided into the core subjects of Mining, Geotechnics and Tunnelling, Geomatics for Mineral Resources Management, Global Resources, Earth and Technology, and Raw Materials and Energy Systems. Moreover, problem-solving, social and leadership skills are taught.
