Content and focus of the degree programme:

Microelectronics is the basic technology of our information society. All modern systems of communication and information technology are based on this technology as well as components of automation, consumer electronics, automotive technology as well as aerospace and technical medicine. The course of study in combination with optical technologies is unique in the German-speaking world. It covers a broad education from the physical mode of action of electronic components and their simulation and manufacture to laser technology.
