The MATILDA European Master in Women's and Gender History, established in 2008 as part of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, offers a unique two-year program if one wishtesto develop expertise in women's and gender history and are interested in international experiences and intercultural exchange. MATILDA is for those students interested in intersectional gender history of the medieval, early modern, and modern eras. It approaches “Europe” not as an isolated entity but as connected to the rest of the world, especially through Europe’s colonial history.
