The master's programme in Ancient History and Classical Studies covers the core subjects of classical archaeology, ancient history and classical studies, classical philology/Greek studies and classical philology/Latin studies and builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in the BA in Ancient Studies or in another relevant BA programme. A characteristic feature of this degree programme is that it promotes an interdisciplinary approach to questions in classical studies using methods of all subjects in classical studies while at the same time allowing subject specialisation in one of the disciplines of classical studies.
