Master's programme (Continuing Education) Advanced Practice Physiotherapy

Content and focus of the degree programme:

Students will broaden their clinical and technical physiotherapeutic expertise. Based on their individual work experience, they will deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of health promoting and rehabilitative managements and trainings with patients suffering from acute and chronic symptoms as well as with healthy people. By teaching evidence-based contents from physiology, psychology and sociology, students will professionalise their skills concerning patient education, communication skills as well as their ability to build relationships with relevant stakeholders in healthcare. Equipped with a better understanding of their own role, they will be able to meet difficult and challenging situations with more self-reflection and self-awareness.
