Medical biology encompasses all biological content that is essential to our understanding of human health and disease. This ranges from the small-scale structure of cells to organs and organ systems and the biology of complex human interactions. The students will receive a well-founded scientific and experimental and analytical education in biomedically relevant subjects as well as basic specialist knowledge in mathematics, chemistry and physics. After graduation this will allow them to start a career in many areas of biomedicine, the pharmaceutical industry, administration and consulting.
