Master’s programme Biotechnology (E)

Content and focus of the degree programme:

Based on a bachelor’s degree programme with a suitable subject orientation, graduates of the master’s degree programme in Biotechnology will have in-depth training in the current and future-oriented areas of molecular biotechnology, environmental and food biotechnology, enzyme technology and biocatalysis, and bioprocess technology. This education conveys the respective state of the art in science both in theory and in the form of extensive practical exercises and enables students to carry out independent scientific work. The students will have the opportunity to deepen their interests in various subject areas by means of selectable modules. A study period abroad is recommended to promote internationality.
