Identifying and preventing diseases – biomedical science plays a key part in modern health care. Exact laboratory results not only help diagnose diseases at an early stage but they also make an impact on prevention and health promotion. Students will learn all about modern diagnostic work in laboratories and clinics. Our bachelor's programme in Biomedical Science will prepare you for work in the pharmaceutical industry, science, and research. In the first four semesters the theoretical and practical basics of biomedical science will be taught. The professional internship enables you to implement and consolidate your acquired skills. In the first four semesters the internship will take place in the training laboratories; in fourth to the sixth semester the professional internship will take place at internship locations selected by the student.
