Midwives and all persons working as midwifes care for, counsel and support women and all persons able to give birth and their families during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period as well as during the breastfeeding period. They monitor the course of pregnancy and birth, promote the health of mother and child, recognize risks and contribute to treatment in the event of complications. With the bachelor's degree programme Midwifery at FH Campus Wien, graduates will be equipped for their successful path into the midwifery profession: evidence-based, competence-oriented and up-to-date.
