Content and focus of the degree programme:

This master’s programme is a combination of basic knowledge in biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics and mathematics as well as application-oriented engineering sciences such as bioprocess engineering. The focus is on cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, nanobiotechnology, biotechnological substances production and transformation, bioprocess engineering, quality management and legal norms. The programme is very practice-oriented. Numerous exchange programmes, cooperations and courses in foreign languages contribute to an international environment.
