Definition of the field of studies

In this degree programme chemometrics – i.e. the application of statistical methods for the optimal planning, development and selection of chemical processes and experiments – and the associated computer-assisted evaluation of big amounts of data (big data analysis) play an important part. Both play a key role in quality assurance and online process optimisation.
