Im Masterstudium Psychotherapie lernt man, psychische Störungen, Therapieverfahren und Forschungsergebnisse kritisch zu verstehen und anzuwenden. Man erfasst psychische und psychosomatische Störungen, berücksichtigen somatopsychische Zusammenhänge sowie alters- und kontextspezifische Besonderheiten. Verfahrenslehre in allen vier psychotherapiewissenschaftlichen Clustern ist ebenso Teil des Studiums. Man entwickelt Fallkonzeptionen und plant Behandlungen.
