Content and focus of the degree programme:

The objective of the English-language master's programme in Meteorology at the University of Vienna is an advanced, sound academic education in the disciplines of meteorology and climatology. Based on the comprehensive general education in the fields of meteorology and climatology during the bachelor’s programme, graduates of the master’s programme have consolidated and specialised in the disciplines of environmental meteorology, weather, climate and computational modelling and simulation on high-performance computers.
