Master’s programme Physics (E)

Content and focus of the degree programme:

The master's programme in Physics prepares the students for a highly qualified occupation in industry and in research as well as for the Doctor of Philosophy Programme in Physics. It deepens and extends the students' abilities and knowledge in the field of physics that the students have acquired in the bachelor’s programme in Physics and enhances their ability for independent scientific working. Within the context of research-oriented teaching specialisation in four different areas is possible: quantum physics, ion/plasma/applied physics, astrophysics and particle physics, and computational physics.
