Master’s programme Technical Physics (E)

Content and focus of the degree programme:

Physics significantly shapes the way we see our world today and forms the basis for other sciences and for technology. Accordingly, the study of technical physics is dedicated to the investigation of fundamental connections, the answers to fundamental questions of the physical world and the application of physical methods to technical problems. The main goals of the course include the training of logical thinking and the learning of methods for problem solving. Typical for the study of technical physics is that, in addition to a solid physical and mathematical education, practice-oriented technology-related subjects and application-oriented computer methods are also taught. The imparting of business management and social skills rounds off the content of the study programme and provides key qualifications that are crucial in professional life.
