Content and focus of the degree programme:

The degree programme in International Relations is a sub-discipline of political science which traditionally deals with intergovernmental relations. The core area of the International Relations programme is the dealing with conflicts. The aspects of conflict parties, conflict subject, conflict environment, difference in positions and conflict resolution are analysed. The different theories offer different analysis concepts and conflict resolution strategies. The degree programme in International Relations at the Webster University Vienna is internationally oriented: Students come from 70 different countries, professors come from approx. 20 different countries. Students moreover have the possibility to continue or complete their studies at one of the more than 100 locations of the Webster University. The medium of instruction is English.
