This four-semester master’s programme imparts the skills that are necessary to market and manage green products, brands and companies. Moreover, the focus is on the expertise that is necessary to develop and implement effective advertising campaigns on the basis of findings from the study of the consumer insight. Therefore the students will also learn the basics of media design in order to develop a feeling for good design. This is essential in the implementation phase of the campaign idea or a new packaging design with an advertising or design agency. Another focus will be put on the analysis of markets, the conceptual design of products and the assessment of the ecological impact of a product. Green marketers will moreover be able to work together efficiently with product developers, legal experts, organic certifiers and raw materials suppliers. They will be able to instruct teams, they will know green trends, they think creatively and are able to develop strategic business and marketing goals and they will be able to implement them in an operative way and to measure the results.
