The bachelor's programme imparts a broad basis of business and economic skills. This economic knowledge will be complemented by selected content from law and sociology. The students will also familiarise themselves with current quantitative and qualitative research methods in economics and acquire the ability to apply these methods to a wide range of questions. In-depth skills that qualify graduates in particular for international careers are taught in advanced modules. In addition to intercultural skills and skills in questions of gender and diversity this includes a deepening of their business and economic knowledge in an international context. Graduates will be able to cope with the challenges of a globalised economy, recognise different facets of problems and independently develop solution strategies. By choosing from a wide range of electives to be chosen from a list the students can focus on and expand their skills and thus qualify both for further master's studies, especially at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, and for professional careers in specialised fields.
