Content and focus of the degree programme:

The aim of the master’s programme in Research in Economics and Finance at the University of Vienna is to deepen and complement the students’ academic education in economics and finance. The degree programme therefore includes a thorough and in-depth education in the core subjects as well as an introduction to ongoing research in economics and finance. The programme prepares the students for doctoral studies in economics or finance and a subsequent professional career in academia or research institutions.
