The master's programme in Entrepreneurship & Tourism offered by MCI Innsbruck aims to contribute to the professionalisation of entrepreneurship in the leisure and tourism industry. The programme incorporates current challenges faced by the industry to enable students to recognise and make use of the resulting opportunities for enterprises. It furthermore aims to create a general awareness of trends and current developments in international tourism. Two of the central processes currently affecting the industry are digitisation and constantly changing consumer behaviour. The programme provides students with well-founded theoretical knowledge as well as practical expertise. The encouragement of entrepreneurial thinking and action is considered a top priority throughout the course. The programme is offered both in German (major in Strategic Management & Tourism) and in English (major in Marketing, Management & Tourism).
