The doctoral degree programme Doctor of Philosophy in Education (short: PhD in Education) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz’ School of Education serves to enable independent research in the fields of educational research and didactics on the basis of a traditional degree programme ("Diplomstudium") or a master's programme. The students will acquire extended and in-depth knowledge of educational and didactic research methods and carry out current research work at doctoral level.
