The teacher training programme in chemistry closely combines theory and practice. Basic subject-specific knowledge and experimental methods will be imparted and technical skills in the sub-disciplines of analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry will be trained. Apart from imparting the basics the subject didactics also enable an in-depth dealing with school experiments, modern didactic research and the transfer of new research results into the classroom.
