In the teacher training bachelor’s programme for the subject of English students will receive comprehensive linguistic training and further education, the target level of which is C2 ("native speaker level"). In the linguistics courses the students will deal with the structure of the English language (sounds, word formation, word meanings, etc.). The literature studies deal with English-language literature from different parts of the world, periods and themes. They also include an analysis of English-language films. As language and culture form an inseparable unit cultural studies are also an important part of the programme.
