Content and focus of the degree programme:

This study programme is only available in German.


The teacher training programme in History and Social Studies/Political Education includes courses in various fields of historical studies (e.g. contemporary history, global history, cultural history, etc.). At the beginning of the programme the students will learn the most important basics of historical research and deal with typical working techniques of experts. Courses on political science are also part of the programme. A large number of subject-didactic courses will help the students to prepare the acquired content for teaching history and politics.
