The bachelor's course in Classical Studies provides general knowledge and an overview of the three great disciplines of Classical Studies: Ancient History and Classical Studies; Classical and Early Aegean Archaeology; and Classical Philology (the study of Greek and Latin language and literature). Students will acquire and practise academic research skills and techniques and learn to critically discuss the theories and methods of the three above-mentioned disciplines. Furthermore, the students will learn to interpret and analyse ancient written texts, visual art and material remains.
