The master’s degree course builds on the basic knowledge acquired during the bachelor’s degree course in Sociology but it puts a distinct focus on scientific research. Besides expanding their knowledge of the theories and methods of empirical social research the students will learn how to critically evaluate sociological concepts and how to apply the acquired skills to selected fields of specialisation.
