The “Research (pre-PhD)” track prepares the students for a rigorous PhD in Economics or Finance, or a public or private sector job focusing on research and data analysis. The “Global Economic Policy” track gives students a broader view of economics and thus prepares them for public or private sector jobs related to economic policy and also for PhD’s in related fields like Development Economics, Public Policy, Labor Economics, and Political Science.
